A) The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word, that God gave it to men without error, and that it alone is the sufficient source of authority for all belief and practice.
B) God
We believe in one God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere present and never changing. We believe God exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
C) Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is fully God and yet fully man, and that nobody comes to the Father but by Him.
D) Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a member of the Triune Godhead, that He is a personality and that He affects the Father’s plan in this world by glorifying Jesus Christ and directing men to Him.
E) Man
We believe that man is a created being, made in the image of God. We believe that man is a sinner totally depraved and unable to save himself from the wages of sin, death. We believe that all men will spend a conscious eternity in one of two places, heaven or hell.
F) Salvation
We believe that salvation is by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all who would call upon Him as Lord. We believe that once the Holy Spirit regenerates a person that he is saved for eternity.
G) Sanctification and Christian Conduct
We believe that Christian growth comes through trusting obedience in Christ as the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to make us like the Son of God for the glory of God. We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the well being of his fellowmen; that his conduct should be blameless before the world; that he should be a faithful steward of his possessions; and that he should seek to realize for himself and others the full stature of maturity in Christ.
H) The Church
We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the tasks of glorifying Himself through unified commitment to one another and making followers of Jesus Christ among all nations. We believe in the autonomy of the local church, free of any external authority or control.
I) The Last Things
We believe in the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of his Kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal felicity of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked.
