Evangelical Baptist Church
“And they devoted themselves to the
apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread
and the prayers.” — Acts 2:42
EBC is a church centered on the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministries begin with the teaching of God's Word.
The people of EBC join together in fellowship, because of the love and command of the Lord Jesus, as we have covenanted together.
We fellowship by breaking bread together at the Lord's Table to remember Jesus' death. But we also share meals together regularly.
We meet together as a congregation every week to pray. We also pray for one another daily.
On Thursday, March 6, beginning at 7 p.m., Pastor Colin Landry will be leading a seven-week Bible study entitled “Christianity Explored.” The study is simply a methodical reading through the Gospel of Mark, as we seek to answer “Who is Jesus?” “Why does He still matter?” and “What does it mean to follow Him?” Alongside the reading is a weekly video presentation and a discussion time. See christianityexplored.org
for more details.
When we tell you it’s free we hope you won’t conclude it’s not valuable.
Many have regularly heard of Jesus but have never taken time to examine the source documents that tell His story. “Christianity Explored” is an informal study where you can do just that. If you are at all interested in the study, please contact Pastor Colin at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please join us Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 for our annual Spring conference. This year we are hosting Pastor Mike DeVries from Northern Ridge Baptist Church in Colorado. He will be teaching on the subject of “prayer.” The session on Saturday begin at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. Sunday’s session will begin at our regular Sunday school time of 9:15 a.m. This is a great time to dig deeper into God’s Word together and explore an important topic. If you’d like more information, please contact the church at email@example.com
All ladies are invited to tea and brunch here at the church Saturday, April 5 at 10 a.m. This is a great time to fellowship and encourage one another.
